Marketing Associate InternAnita Sheares is an MBA Candidate at The Wharton School. She has over 8 years of marketing experience across fashion, direct-to-consumer, and entertainment brands. Prior to business school, she was the Associate Director of Performance & Content Marketing at Marvel Entertainment, responsible for driving subscriber growth for Marvel Unlimited, an award-winning digital comics app providing instant access to over 30,000 Marvel digital comics.
Previously, Anita led strategy and marketing at S’well, one of the fastest-growing female-founded companies in the U.S., overseeing the brand’s positioning, advertising, digital marketing, and messaging to consumers. At Ralph Lauren, Anita managed omnichannel marketing and events for the North American Wholesale business.
Anita graduated with her BA in International Studies from Spelman College and is passionate about working with nonprofits that support HBCUs, women’s initiatives, and marketing organizations.
