Lisa BellFuture Leader Class of ‘21 Manager, GM Brand Experience General Motors
In the six years that she has been with General Motors, Lisa has worked across various marketing organizations in roles focused on revenue generating and awareness building campaign initiatives for targeted audiences.
As the Brand Experience manager for GM, she handles the development and integration of nuanced vehicle brand marketing strategies that align to the greater GM vision. As a part of that vision, she also leads strategic coordination of technology based EV brand experiences, personalized features and services across GM’s master and vehicle brands.
Currently, she is helping drive marketing efforts related to Ultifi, the automaker’s innovative software platform that powers a new approach to vehicle ownership.
Her proficiency in data mining, audience development and brand building has proved instrumental in her continued career growth. She has been an integral part of the OnStar brand relaunch in 2018, the OnStar Guardian launch in 2020 and is leading 2021 marketing efforts to socialize GM’s scalable software platform across GM vehicle brands.
An avid marketer, Lisa has nearly 15 years of experience rooted in brand and audience strategy, content development, and media. Her prior roles with various Detroit based agencies included clients such as GM, OnStar and Nationwide Insurance.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University and received her M.B.A. from the University of Detroit Mercy.
A huge believer in reaching back, Lisa is also a member of the BUF Millennial Board serving as a committee co-chair, volunteers with Girls on the Run of Southeast Michigan and mentors new GM employees. She spends her free time reading and traveling.
