
Loucia Hamilton
BECA Executive DirectorLoucia Hamilton brings over a decade of leadership in fundraising, special event planning, non-profit operations, and creative production to her commitment to impacting the quality of life for women and people of color. Notably, Loucia led a fundraising team that raised over five million dollars for the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women (BLSYW), a charter school that is part of the national TWYLS network. She grew the school’s annual fundraising special event revenue and attendance by 200% over 3 years. During her time at BLSYW Loucia also served as Associate Producer of the FOX Searchlight, Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary, “STEP”, which featured the school and some of its dynamic young scholars.
Most recently, Loucia spent three years as the Associate Director of Development for iMentor Baltimore, helping to launch the region’s program and securing 1.1 million dollars in philanthropy to support the organization’s mission of post-secondary success for first-generation and low-income students. She attended New York University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology, and is a proud alumnus of Baltimore City College High School. Loucia lives to serve and believes that her purpose is to support teams that empower people.
