Gregg Smith

Gregg Smith is a retired Managing Director with Boyden Global Executive Search specializing in Diversity and Inclusion. Gregg has completed executive and board searches in financial services, retail, professional services, private equity, and the nonprofit sector. Gregg provided advice and counsel to clients committed to recruiting high-performance, minority, and women executives with a track record of success. Gregg’s consultative and strategic business approach enabled him to assist clients not only in finding business leaders for the present but also in building bench strength for the future. Gregg had recruited C-level candidates for marketing, human resources, finance, information science, and tax.

Before his career in search, Gregg was a successful entrepreneur and served as the President of Brooke Staffing, a full-service staffing company based in Minneapolis. Earlier in his career, Gregg held executive positions with American Express Financial Advisors, Pillsbury, and Scientific Atlanta. Gregg, in addition to serving on the Board of BECA, has served as a Guardian Ad Litem, at Palm Beach County Juvenile Court. Gregg earned a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies at Georgia State University and a JD from Atlanta Law School. He and his wife live in Boca Raton Florida.
