Natalie Malaszenko Strahan is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aperture Pet & Life, a global leading retailer and manufacturer of saltwater and freshwater aquarists. Unified by the mission to enrich lives through thriving ecosystems, Aperture has one of the largest YouTube footprints in the pet industry with over 400k followers and plays a critical role in supporting coral conservation through its best-in-class products that mimic the natural environment.

She brings nearly 25 years of experience helping companies accelerate profitable growth and dominate market share. Prior to Aperture, Natalie was the Chief Customer Officer for Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer for Office Depot where she was responsible for their Top 15 largest eCommerce site (by revenue) in the U.S., Chief Marketing Officer for Overstock, Head of Digital for Hewlett Packard’s first fully centralized digital organization, Head of Social Media for Petco launching their social media presence and Head of Operations for Dell’s Communities and Conversations Group, the Fortune 500’s first Social Media organization.

She has been at the helm of several industry-defining initiatives including launching the world’s first live-stream concert on Twitter, positioning HP to become the largest brand in the world on LinkedIn and the first to reach 1 million followers, and revamping the iconic “Elf Yourself” campaign to become the #3 most downloaded app in entertainment globally.

Natalie received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of New Mexico, where she published in the fields of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience and was a member of their NCAA D1 alpine ski team. She additionally completed Harvard Business School’s executive business management program. She served on the inaugural LinkedIn marketing advisory board and holds a U.S. patent for online navigation

She currently serves as a director on the board of the Black Executive CMO Alliance (BECA).
