Rudy is an accomplished global leader with more than 25 years of success in driving sustainable growth for public and private companies.
With a broad background in business transformation, marketing, operations, and board leadership, he approaches problems from a
holistic growth perspective and partners cross-functionally to align
organizations around a unified and coherent roadmap for success.
Rudy most recently served as the President of SC Johnson’s Global
Consumer Brands (GCB) business unit, delivering strategic objectives
across a portfolio of iconic brands that included Ziploc®, Glade®, Raid®,
OFF!®, Mr Muscle®, Duck®, Windex®, and Scrubbing Bubbles®. Rudy drove significant sales and margin growth, increased global product launches, strengthened employee engagement and satisfaction, and launched innovative AI tools into the marketing organization to improve efficiency while reducing costs. He was also instrumental in navigating
the organization through the COVID pandemic by building a more resilient supply chain, simplifying workflows, and prioritizing cost-savings
projects.
Before being named President in 2021, Rudy served as GCB’s Global
Chief Marketing Officer, where he drove sustainable growth across the
portfolio worldwide through a process of commercial excellence, creative disruption, and consumer centricity. Rudy also served as Senior Vice President—responsible for owning the total P&L across Africa, the Middle East, Russia, and Turkey—as well as Vice President of Home Storage, where he was responsible for Ziploc’s growth strategy, brand equity platforms, innovation pipeline, and international
expansion.
Rudy’s earlier career includes roles as Global VP of Brand Marketing and Advertising at AT&T as well as several increasingly responsible
marketing and commercial leadership roles at Frito-Lay and General Mills.
Rudy has been honored with multiple awards, including Gold and Silver Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, Clio Awards, One Show Awards, Favorite Website Awards, a D&AD Award, a Sabre PR Award, and a Webby Award.
In addition to his professional career, Rudy serves on the board of directors for Whirlpool Corporation and he previously served on the
board of directors for the Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing and the National Association of Manufacturers. Rudy proudly holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Marketing from Arizona State University.
Outside of the office, Rudy enjoys an active life with his family. You may find Rudy engrossed in family game night with his wife and two children, or he might be 100 feet underwater taking photos of sea life as a PADI Advanced SCUBA diver.
