Julie Spencer Washington

Founding Member CMO & CXO, Trinity Health

Julie Spencer Washington is CMO & CXO at Trinity Health, a Catholic health care delivery system with hundreds of hospitals and continuing care locations. Mrs. Washington is responsible for the strategic leadership of marketing, brand building, demand creation, digital, crisis management communication, and community engagement. In addition, she leads organization-wide efforts to create and deliver an integrated and inclusive care experience. Prior to joining Trinity Health, she served as Chief Marketing Officer for Champion Petfoods, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer for Jamba Juice, and marketing leader at Procter & Gamble, Gillette, Nestle Purina, and Luxottica Retail.

Mrs. Washington currently serves on the corporate board of Amyris, Inc and is a trustee of Union Institute and University. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC). Her accomplishments and contributions have been featured in a number of arenas, including selection as one of Black Enterprise’s “Top Women Executives in Advertising & Marketing” and Savoy magazine’s “Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America.” Mrs. Washington is a certified executive coach, speaker, and champion of diversity and inclusion. She is dedicated to mentoring and inspiring others toward personal growth, pursuit of purpose and advocating for the common good.

Mrs. Washington received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Psychology from Emory University and Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University.
