“The mission of BECA is important to me because it allows me to pay it forward for the next generation of Black marketing leaders.”

As Global Chief Brand Officer, Sean Tresvant leads a multi-functional marketing team to fuel the cult of Taco Bell. Overseeing digital, brand management, strategy, creative, and consumer data and business intelligence teams, Sean is responsible for helping Taco Bell stay and build on being Restlessly Creative.

To do that, he will lead Taco Bell into a new age of transformative global marketing, spearheading boundary-pushing, multi-dimensional efforts that drive culture, initiate change and create impact. From strategic omni- channel initiatives to digital customer touchpoints, he will further elevate and differentiate the Taco Bell fan and restaurant team experience as the brand continues redefining innovation in its industry.

Sean, previously, has spent 15 years at Nike where he’s had an incredible run. In his most recent role as Chief Marketing Officer of the Jordan Brand, Sean set the consumer journey and execution of brand campaigns, product marketing, creative collaborations, athlete sponsorships and omni-channel marketplace design as well as social platforms.

Highlights from his impressive list of accomplishments include defining the Jordan brand voice across the globe, leading the direction of Emmy Award-winning Last Dance Documentary for Jordan Brand, developing and facilitating Fortnite activation with Epic Games, and defining and shaping social justice community impact initiatives across the globe.

Sean’s impact at Nike goes far beyond this list. He’s developed strategies and programs that have helped Nike show up to the world in meaningful ways – from revitalizing Nike Running in North America, to creating a local brand voice for Los Angeles. Prior to Nike, Sean held roles at Pepsi and Time – Sports Illustrated in New York.

While he’s a master of his marketing craft, he’s also extremely passionate about people. In addition to his strong focus on the development of his teams, he led the Diversity Task Force at Nike and was a huge part of bringing the Jordan Brand’s Black Community Commitment Committee to life through “real talk” chats.

Born and raised in Seattle, Sean is a Seahawks and Mariners fan who one day hopes to see his beloved SuperSonics return to the Pacific Northwest. Sean received his MBA from Seattle University and his BA and MA in Communications from Washington State University, where he also played basketball for the Cougars. Outside of work, Sean has two children, is an avid art collector, and sports enthusiast.
